Meeting Reminder

Remember tonight’s meeting is at 7:00 at Thomas Jefferson. It’s our last meeting before the boys earn their Bear Badge. Please bring your Bear Handbooks and a pair of scissors. Our activity tonight requires lots of cutting and I seem to have lost most of ours. I will make sure everyone’s handbooks are complete and will have explanations of all our upcoming events.

Thank you to all of you who helped out at Greenwood Park today.

Summer Camp

Dates for the 2013 Summer Day Camp have been announced. This year’s theme is “Super Hero’s Real & Imaginary”. Camp was a great experience for Eddie last year and I highly recommend it. Check out the Garden State Council web page for details. It would be nice if some of the boys could go for the same week. Let me know if you have questions.

March 4th Den Meeting

This week we will be completing Requirement 20b, “Build your own Toolbox”. I have all the pieces of wood cut to size and will bring enough sandpaper, nails, and wood glue for everyone. I have 4 hammers, which should be enough for the boys to share. If you have one that is sized appropriately please bring it. I will also bring a cordless drill. I think it will be easier for the boys to get the nails in if we pre-drill. If anyone has a drill they could bring that would be a help.
We will not be painting the boxes at a meeting. If you would like to paint your’s I think it is best everyone paint them at home.
Please remember it’s not too late to sign up for Scout Night at the Phillie’s game on March 29th. If you would like to go please bring money for your tickets or we can charge your scout account. Seats are $16.
